Error message: Your Home folder is running out of disk space.

A few months ago I installed Q4OS inside my WIN 10 pc. Now I am getting this error message: Your Home folder is running out of disk space. Especially when I try to download updates! The default installation only allowed something like 20 gb of program space. That apparently was radically insufficient. How can I correct this?

Will I have to uninstall Q4OS and reinstall requiring much more program space? Say 60 or 80 gb?

Yes, you need to reinstall and allocate more space for Q4OS.

You could also try to resize the existing virtual disk, however it's not guaranteed action. So you have to backup first important data from both Windows and Q4OS installation. See instructions https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3805

Somewhat related, where do i disable or change the value of this feature?
Message triggers by percentage (94%), but on a partition of 100GB and above, that's 6GB (100) free, 30GB (500) free.

I have been running q4os inside win 10. I just uninstalled it (with Windows uninstall utility) in order to reinstall it with more space dedicated for q4os so that the program updates would be successful. I then tried to reinstall with the q4os-winsetup.exe file. Guess what? Windows will no longer allow this program to be installed! Here is their message: "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk." There was no option to run the program! I am becoming very disenchanted with q4os! I should not have been required to uninstall q4os and then reinstall it in the first place. Additionally, I have been very disenchanted with Windows for years.

Windows will no longer allow this program to be installed...
