ajouter BUDGIE- add BUDGIE

Bonjour les amis,

Apparemment il est possible d'ajouter des environnements de bureau additionnels et j'aurais voulu essayer BUDGIE avec q4os .
Je ne sais absolument pas comment faire .
J'ai bien selectionné Budgie comme environnement de bureau additionnel dans le gestionnaire de profil de bureau mais l'installation ne se fait pas .
Aurais je oublié quelque chose ?

Hello everyone,

Apparently it's possible to add additional desktop environments, and I wanted to try Budgie with Q4OS.

I have absolutely no idea how to do it.

I selected Budgie as an additional desktop environment in the desktop profile manager, but the installation isn't working.
Have I missed something?

Is the desktop profiler throwing an error when you try to install the additional desktop environment?
If you have installed the additional desktop environment successfully, you have to choose it in the login manager (TDM in Q4OS Trinity; SDDM in Q4OS Plasma)

We have update Budgie desktop on Q4OS, so you could try it again, see whether it's fixed and post back the result.

Personally, if I wanted to add an additional DE I tend to use Synaptic Package Manager. But personally, my preference is for the Plasma that Q4OS defaults to.
