Spotify refuses to run.

Good day!
I have installed Flatpak from Q4OS Software Centre, than installed Spotify from Flathub. But, installed Spotify refuses to launch.

Update.
I have removed Spotify, and, after that, installed it again using Q4OS Software Centre.
Installation was successful, but Spotify again refuses to run with the same error Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module" (attachment).

We can't reproduce in VM. Fresh Q4OS Trinity installation, Basic proile + Spotify flatpak works as expected. Try:
$ flatpak repair
$ flatpak update

We are investigating this issue. Please create a snapshot profile of your system, see https://www.q4os.org/dqa016.html#boome and post the profile file here, so we can apply it on the test system and perform some more testing.

Well, now we are able to reproduce the issue time by time. Investigation continues, we will post back later.

By the way, you need to rename the profile file not to contain capital letters to be able to import it in the Desktop profiler. It's Q4OS bug, we are working on a fix.

You can get rid of "failed to load module xapp-gtk3-module" message, if you uninstall "libxapp-gtk3-module liblibxapp1" packages. You can also try to install "apparmor" package and see what happens. But this doesn't workaround this issue completely.

Our conclusion is that this is not Q4OS bug. We can reproduce it on both VM and a real hardware machines on a plain Debian/Trinity installations. It looks like this Spotify flatpak release has some memory leaks so it crashes intermittently. It gets worse on a real hardware, so it may be connected to video drivers or video acceleration somehow. Unfortunately we are not able to fix this issue as it's an upstream one. Waiting for Spotify to update may or may not help.

In anyway you could also remove this Spotify flatpak installation and try to follow another way https://wiki.debian.org/spotify

This new installer completely avoids the flatpak version, as it installs Spotify from the native Linux repositories. This confirms that Linux version of Spotify suffers from memory leaks, in dependence on hardware. Overall, this version performed much better during our testing. Thanks for the feedback.
