Hello everyone.I am new to the world of linux and my friend advised me q4os.The thing is that Windows 11 it is very loaded and I was advised this distribution. The characteristics of a rather modest but the laptop is modern but it is with 8 gb RAM. Windows 11 worked well, but I did not like that there is a lot of unnecessary. So I have 2 questions
1) are the system requirements for Q4OS actual? (I mean the operating system itself and not the use of applications)
and the second question how to put a profile for installation?
Here are the specs of my computer
8gb RAM
CPU has 4 cores and 4 threads from Zen Amd series
300gb ssd
what would be a better bet?

Welcome to the forum
Yes, the requirements are vailid.
... how to put a profile for installation?
You will be prompted upon the installation process to specify a pre-defined profile, or you can apply a custom one. If you refuse to specify a profile you can choose any at anytime later in the desktop session using Desktop profiler. See also Desktop profiler documentation https://www.q4os.org/dqa016.html
We can also recommend you to try Q4OS for Windows installer, it will install Q4OS aside your Win11 in an easy way, see https://www.q4os.org/dqa014.html

So tell me please, what's the better choice, Trinity or Plasma?

Plasma is better definitely for your hardware.

I can also recommend trying that. It's a really easy way to get Q4OS alongside Windows.
Calm down, it's only ones and zeroes

Ryzen 1000 series first gen Zen AMD cpus will run really well with Plasma. Youll eventually see a performance improvement when Plasma 6 launches, though more modest than other Zen cpus.
