I have a problem Cntrl alt t does not want to open the console, although in the settings set this combination and nothing else I have not changed.How to fix this situation?

I'm assuming this is the Trinity desktop. Which is a spinoff of KDE. The front end to configure hotkeys are in setting-> Configure Shortcuts. But terminal is one of those hotkeys that you had to configure when you manually install KDE and I imagine its the same thing.
I'll look on my 32 bit install I set up last night and see if that is different, but I doubt it. I'm new here but not new to these programs.
