How to install applications?

Greetings,

I was always a Windows user and recently switched to Q4OS. I am really enjoying Q4OS but I have a few queries, which if cleared, will help me a lot. I request you to spare your time to give a brief explanation on the following queries:-

i) How to know my OS details (versions...etc)?
ii) Is there any other way to install applications except from Q4OS Software Centre?
iii) How to install applications (Skype,zoom,Microsoft Edge, etc.,)after downloading their zip files from a web browser?

1. Welcome screen > More options > HW info

3. This will not work in most cases. Edge, Skype, Zoom and more installers for Q4OS are available, please see https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3624

I am new to this platform so I do not know how to install Sourceforge on my PC. So, please guide me through this.
