draging files to play in vlc passes wrong file name?

draging files to play in vlc passes wrong file name, even the all path in english, but when clicked the file it plays.
any solution?

I think vlc loads the name from metadata to display them, try setting

Tools > Preferences > All > Input/Codecs > Advanced > Change title according to current media

$F

for full name with path

check out VLC's wiki for full list

If this doesn't work out and/or vlc is having a memory leak,
Just untick

Tools > Preferences > Show settings > All > Playlist > Automatically preparse items
