Hi, I have Q4OS-Trinity recently, and I would like a text editor that is as light and simple as possible, especially for txt format.
I have tried Kwrite, but it does not allow me (or I am not able) to underline text or highlight it.
I would also like to avoid something like Openoffice, due to size issues.
From forum searches I have had no results, and from the web it seems rather confusing, some say one thing, some another, some that I have to install wine, and I would like to avoid that.
What do you recommend, and above all could you tell me the procedure?
Thank you

You could check kword-trinity, install it from package manager or from command line:
$ sudo apt install kword-trinity

Thank you, I will try it now.
Is perfect, thanks!

Kate is actually the default text editor with a lot of distros that use Trinity. Hope it works out for you.
