Q4OS and windows 10

Hi !
Please help to correct my mistake caused by stupidity

windows 10 on 300 gb hard drive (used from time to time for several important programmes)
Q4OS on usb stick (was run most of the time)
boot preference was fixed for usb stick with Q4OS
everything functioned fine

One day wanted to make another bootable usb stick
and.........installed Q4OS on hard drive from livecd instead of on the other usb stick !
and even worse !
newly installed Q4OS works badly if run from hard drive (frequent blockade)

what to do?

there are several videos on youtube like Remove Ubuntu and Install Windows using Flash Drive
but they are not suitable for Q4OS

How to turn things back and to have windows 10 on hard drive and booting priority for Q4OS from usb stick?

Any advice will be much appreciated

regards

Re: Q4OS and windows 10

A first thing is to check whether your Windows partition is still present on your hard drive. You can do this using gparted. If you see an NTFS partition, there is a chance your Windows system and data are still there. Otherwise, if you only see ext4 and linux-swap (see my screen capture, I have only Q4OS on my hard drive), then your windows partition has been erased during Q4OS installation and I fear there is no hope to get it back.
