Q4OS does not recognize my cd/rom

I have been able to find only one answer for why my Q4OS will not recognize my cd/rom.  That is listed under APT.CONF shown as   / cdrom/ : : mount  foo
I am new to LINUX and the instructions do not tell where to write this code.  I am aware of Terminal and TDE but this means nothing to me.

Please try to insert a CD media into the tray, a CD icon should popup in the system panel. If not, please run terminal application from the start menu and type command:
$ reportq4
Attach generated file here, or send it via e-mail support@q4os.org to analyze.
