pasystray

So, I'm at work and don't have access to my q4os laptop (I have my arch laptop with me today).  I was reading about pasystray as a fix for broken sound managers in xfce slackware, and the solution was pasystray.  So my question is, does anyone use pasystray and does it integrate into the trinity system tray properly?  I need it because I use a LOT of bluetooth speakers/headsets, and the default mixer isn't able to change the volume for them, so I'm constantly having to start pavucontrol, but it would be easier if I could have a volume control in the systemtray.
