There is the wrong date written on the blog side ("NEW"): There should be written 28 August instead of 27 June.

@rafaelramos
There is no exact date determined yet, we suppose the Q4OS Orion 1.6 for Raspberry Pi boards should be released in 20 days.

Awesome, thanks a lot!
I'm running the Q4OS image of osboxes.org within VirtualBox under Ubuntu Trusty with the theme enhancement XPQ4 and I'm very delighted about this Distribution.
Fast, concise and based on a proved foundation (Debian Jessie), with a familiar, conservative desktop metaphor - what more can you demand ;-)
Keep going the good work!

Thank you Team for updating till TDE 14.0.3! Now I can finally use my external DVD-RW, it still does not automounting after disk insertion, but I can now mount it manually without command line.
Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502 If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

Q4OS just gets better and better. The latest update fixed some annoying bugs - I can now use several components of koffice which were previously broken. Can't understand why the distro isn't better known. I guess it takes time.
Keep up the good work. :-)

We would definitely need more publicity to be able to attract more people around. Any activity to propagate Q4OS would be appreciated.

It seems there are no other distributions which use TDE, so maybe that is a factor given that the desktop environment is perceived as in decline, or not popular? I don't know how actively it's worked on though. I like TDE, but perhaps as a long term strategy q4os might do better to use one of the more "modern" light desktop environments like Mate or Cinnamon. Just a suggestion.

You are welcome
@Jerome
Yes, apart from TDE, we plan to fully support QT5 based LXQT desktop environment, as it will be ready for production. You can also run 'altdeski' tool just now, and choose from other Desktop environments to use in Q4OS, please see http://www.q4os.org/dqa007.html#dskenv

Although it's not much, I did recently mention Q4OS on a posting I did in one of my photo groups, over at ipernity. The posting is here, if anyone is interested. Something is better than nothing, I suppose.
Current setup: Acer Aspire One D257 / Q4OS Centaurus / TDE / SeaMonkey 2.53.8.1
