I noticed today whilst browsing that the wikepedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q4OS is marked for deletion!! What can we as a community do to preserve it's position?
Offline
Take Action! I doubled the content with references. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q4OS
The logo I used can be switched out by Q4OS Team to Orig Q4OS Logo (I can't do that - don't own it).
Also, I protested the deletion of Q4OS wikipedia (English) page here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Q4OS
I object to the proposed deletion of the Q4OS English page on Wikipedia. I am no way associated to the Q4OS
developers. I am simply a user of Q4OS for personal benefit; a lot of benefit! Q4OS Linux is the Best Linux
Distribution. I can only mention the relevance of sharing that out of 400+ Linux Distributions listed on
http://distrowatch.com, Q4OS is the top 50. about.com Tech Linux Expert, Gary Newell, further notes that
Q4OS Linux was his No. 24 pick out of these distributions at http://distrowatch.com
http://linux.about.com/od/dist/fl/How-To-Choose-The-Right-Linux-Distribution.htm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodhi_Linux.
The Linux version that made No. 25 (last on the list Mr. Newell wrote is bodhi Linux and it has a english
wikipedia page here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodhi_Linux. Are we to know to consider one Linux page
on wikipedia.org is less notable than others based on simply the lack of references. It this is a disqualify
aspect for Q4OS then we must look at the references on the wikipedia.org page for Ubuntu Linux.
Over 50% of the references used on Ubuntu's wikipedia.org page are simply backlinks to the stories
on the corporation that built website. A website that promotes Ubuntu for an ungodly amount of profit
each year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_(operating_system) .
Another notable story about Q4OS Linux by By Jack M. Germain, Mar 18, 2015 5:00 AM PT, of
Linux Insider(tm) http://www.linuxinsider.com/story/81829.html?rss=1 . Mr. Germain noted, among
other things about Q4OS, "Q4OS has the potential to become a new attention-getter among up and
coming Linux distros." Mr. Germain was correct when he stated over a year a go that Q4OS has potential
as it has moved up to No. 34 out of 271 Distributions currently tracked by Distrowatch.com
http://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=trending . And most notably maybe the Q4OS article
on the Computer Power User Magazine website
http://www.computerpoweruser.com/article/18339/q4os-updates-to-version-14
Posted September 04, 2015 "Q4OS Updates To Version 1.4". Q4OS became stable with version 1.4.
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from [[{{{1}}}]], which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this
message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't
add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks!
I will include 20+ notable references not affiliated with Q4OS website or developers within 7 days for
consideration. I respectfully submit that there are 130,000+ Google pages that reference Q4OS Linux.

@Dai, Thanks.
I have been pouring over the Wikipedia pages that detail the process for deletion. I won't get in to the politics of it all but,
We need to have others go the Q4OS Wiki Talk Page and add why they do not want the Q4OS page deleted. Reasons stated should be why you believe Q4OS is notable enough to remain on Wikipedia. (Its almost like cloak & dager stuff) but, I think the mentioning of Q4OS being a XP look-alike and replacement for Windows is likely the reason for the "Nomination" of proposed deletion.
I can only suggest that referencing Q4OS as being in the top 50 of over 400 Linux Distributions on Distrowatch.com is notable.
Please consider taking the time and chime in on this page by using the "Edit" or "New Section".

This is very unfortunate. I very rarely go to wikipedia for much as they are for the most part; very bias.
