Xfce instead of Trinity ?

Is it possible to replace (without damaging anything) Trinity by Xfce ?

You can but I wouldn't recommend to mix DE on any cost.
Unless Q4OS Dev make a custom netinstall CD that can choose
TDE or other DE like what Debian gave that option from tasksel.
