Q4OS 6.10 Andromeda, stable

Updated installation media for the Q4OS 6 Andromeda LTS edition are now available. The new 6.10 stable release is based on Debian Trixie 13.7 with the stable Debian kernel 6.12.111, Trinity desktop 14.1.5, KDE Plasma 6.3.6, and includes all cumulative updates since the previous Andromeda stable release.

What has changed since Q4OS 6.9:
  * Debian 13.7 base with the stable Debian kernel 6.12.111 (6.9 shipped 6.12.107) and the current security updates.
  * The Plasma edition no longer contains any Trinity (TDE/TQt) packages: the Q4OS tools on Plasma now come with their own Qt5 frontends, while Trinity stays installable side by side.
  * Q4OS Setup, the application installer, is split into a Trinity and a Qt5 frontend, so each desktop gets the native one.
  * New Q4OS WiFi connect tool at the first login, for both Trinity and Plasma, replacing the old Trinity-only dialog.
  * The live media now carry exactly the Basic desktop profile plus the live-session extras (installer, web browser, Q4OS Imager, CJK fonts, VirtualBox guest additions, language packs); leftovers the Basic profile would remove, such as old KDE Frameworks libraries on the Trinity edition and the QtCurve and old window styles, are gone.
  * The fail-safe entry of the live boot menu now starts the graphics in nomodeset mode, for machines whose graphics driver fails to start.
  * NumLock is switched on at first boot on desktops and laptops with a numeric keypad, and stays off on small laptops.

Also through the repositories: the Software Centre no longer offers Mozilla Firefox on 32-bit (i386) systems, for which Mozilla builds no Firefox any more; Q4OS 5 i386 users are offered Debian's Firefox ESR instead.

We invite everyone to download the latest installation media from the Downloads section of the Q4OS website. All updates are also being rolled out through the Q4OS repositories, so existing installations receive the new packages automatically via the standard system update process.

Re: Q4OS 6.10 Andromeda, stable

Good evening,
I tried to update to 6.10 (I am on Andromeda 6.9) but it failed.
Discover offered a 12 packages update.

Technical Details:

Dependency resolution failed:

The following packages have unmet dependencies: q4os-sw-profiler: Depends: q4os-sw-profiler-common (= 4.16.0-a6) but 4.16.0-a8 is to be installed

Did I do something wrong?
Thank you
