Re: Q4OS 2.0.2 'Scorpion' released

They've updated
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=q4os

Nice timing I, was having trouble unable to save image files from Chrome browser.
I wonder if this bug was fix in 2.0.2 I'll check it out.
Also Debian stretch CD is uninstallable they don't detect my pc drivers &
no ext4 format option inside the Debian Testing Netinstall CD.

Re: Q4OS 2.0.2 'Scorpion' released

I noticed that the new Scorpion ISO is now twice the size of the Orion IOS.  What happened there?

Re: Q4OS 2.0.2 'Scorpion' released

Oh, my apologies... those were the live ISOs.  I was comparing them to the install ISOs for Orion.  Of course the live versions would be larger than the install versions.  I wasn't thinking clearly, there.

Re: Q4OS 2.0.2 'Scorpion' released

I've been trying this out in Virtualbox. I really like it, but I've run into some confusion. Is this based on Debian Testing or Debian Unstable? Screenfetch says it's Sid, but I think the repos point to Stretch? I'm not sure and would just like some clarification.

Thank you very much cc! That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Sid is a bit unstable for me, but Stretch is just right.

Yes, cc is right, Q4OS-2 Scorpion is based on Debian Stretch. It will become stable together with Stretch.

Re: Q4OS 2.0.2 'Scorpion' released

The Scorpion-Debian installer unfortunately has issues installing so I've gone ahead and installed Orion first in order to get the OS up. What are are the source list file changes to perform a distupgrade?

So I simply took the apt source lists from Scorpion and put them into Orion and then did a dist-upgrade.  Worked out great.
