HP OfficeJet 5200 series printer not working with Free 10

Is anyone successfully using an HP OfficeJet 5252 printer with XPQ4 Free 10 system?

I recently installed the OS on a Dell Inspiron laptop.
System is running fine but one of my last switchover tasks is to get my HP printer working on it. I can't get the printer to work. I've tried it as a network printer on my home net and as a direct USB connection with no success. The printer works fine with a Windows 11 laptop I have.
I've tried various procedures described in the forums here and on other tech websites but haven't had success yet. I'm wondering if this particular HP model is not supported by the hplip and cusp programs.

Welcome to the forum

XPQ4 is not an official Q4OS edition, so we don't support it directly. Please try it under a plain Debian or Q4OS setup and report here the result.
