Workaround for missing software-properties-common package in Debian 13

I am trying to install "Onedrive for Linux" on Q4OS Andromeda Trinity. The setup instructions (https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive/b … install.md) tell me to remove any relevant PPAs and files with the command:

sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:yann1ck/onedrive

The "add-apt-repository" command doesn't work because it is a part of package "software-properties-common" which was removed from Debian 13/Trixie. This means I can't just install on my system:

sudo apt install software-properties-common

Is there a workaround for this missing package? What should I use to replace "add-apt-repository" and "software-properties-common"? I've seen some solutions involving GPG keys, but I'm not confident about using them.

It's not recommended to use "software-properties-common" in Debian13, it's not supported. And you don't need this package at all. Just follow instructions for Debian13 https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive/b … -debian-13

Thanks, but the Debian instructions are in step 4 according to https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive/b … install.md.

Steps 1 to 3 remove any potentially conflicting packages etc and updates the system. Then step 4 shows how to install on Debian 13 https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive/b … -debian-13

If you haven't add any PPA repository, you don't need to remove it. So you don't need to install "software-properties-common" package.
