I picked up another toy the other day. A Chuwi minibook x with an Intel N150 and 16gb ram. Nice little laptop. Have been experimenting with a Q4OS windows install. It's interesting how after a windows 11 start up, windows is eating up almost 5gb ram. You know how little Q4 Trinity uses and it really runs fast on the N150. Only have two things to sort out. Had to install in portrait mode. But after installation switching the screen rotation solved that. It now stays in portrait mode until login. The other thing I haven't figured out is switching to tablet mode. Following the information here, https://github.com/petitstrawberry/minibook-support . I installed git, and make. But am getting an error when following through with the terminal code. There is so much that I don't know about Linux even though I have been using it for a number of years on my desktop. So I have to learn what's going on to fix the issue!

Figured out what was missing. Guess I read through the page to fast and missed that I needed to install the build-essential package. So now the keyboard and trackpad get disabled in tablet mode but the screen doesn't rotate. I'm sure I'm missing something. Get back to it in a few days.
