I took the plunge, erased Windows, and re-installed the newest Q4OS. I am using a lo-spec HP laptop. [N150, 4 cores, 4gb RAM, 119gb storage] Neither memory or storage can be upgraded as both are soldered in place.
I had long ditched regular Windows11 and instead was running Tiny11. My initial impressions are both run equally fast. I am a retired engineer and sometimes help others up-cycle their old computers. I see Plasma is installed, but really would like to install and run Trinity in order to get familiar and help others. Perhaps someone can point me to the steps needed to do that?
I plan to re-sell this laptop. It is a 2025 model currently sold at Best Buy for $240. It is near new, freshly re-loaded, and will likely sell for around $150. It does not meet my needs. I heard (incorrectly) that wireless did not work on this new release, but I am happy to report that is not the case. I installed, tested, and used: Spotify, Bluetooth, Brave Browser, Rustdesk.
Once again, I am impressed with Q4OS.

You can install Trinity alongside Plasma to make dual desktop setup see https://www.q4os.org/dqa015.html#ddskr

I find the install option is greyed out. I do NOT get the option to install. See the attachment Can I somehow choose Trinity during install?
Sorry I am not understanding.

I will try. I do not know how to capture in Q4OS (I plan to learn). I took a picture with my phone, cropped and made it smaller, and sent to my desktop. I hope I have it attached (3 attempts, reduced). The [install] box is in the lower right, but is greyed out (not active).

OK, i found why I had no install button, and chose KDE Plasma and Trinity. But again, it does not seem to get installed. here is my screenshot. Again, I need to be led. I pressed install, it seemed to do it, I rebooted, and still cannot find Plasma.
Thanks.

Problem Solved!
It seems simple once you find the solution.
I was using auto-login and thus was not able to choose Plasma or TDE. Turning off auto-login allows me to choose.
I learned how to do a screen capture. I learned how to do the active window only. i learned I like Plasma better. I learned Trinity runs on 300mhz machines and less than 1gb memory. I learned Tiny11 can up-cycle Windows10 for those dedicated to Windows, but for those willing to learn, Linux (and Q4OS) is a better choice.
Thanks for letting me learn.
