Feedback on Q4OS 5.9 Aquarius

I have recently received a request to install GNU/Linux on a client's notebook and desktop. I noticed my 5.8 had updated to 5.9, so I thought I would give 5.9 a spin on my Ventoy USB and was taken aback by the speed of it, even in live mode. They are migrating from Windows 10 and so the obvious check was to take a look at LookSwitcher. I chose the Windows 10 theme and I just love the way the theme comes with zren's Tiled Menu out of the Box, working smoothly.

I did take a look at Q40S 6.6 which has a longer life-span, but sadly, because zren has not done a total rewrite for Plasma 6.3.6, I will be avoiding that for the client. I have checked out Tiled Menu on other distributions in live mode that use Plasma 6.3.6 and the same problem arises. The suggestion is that end users can amend the widget themselves but not sure if this is a feasible solution. Has anyone got ideas on that?

I am aware that X11 is being dropped in later versions of KDE Plasma. I have come across a couple of distros who have either adopted or will be adopting XLibre as an alternative replacement for X11. Has Q4OS any plans at all?

Yes, we will adopt XLibre along with Debian upstream.
