The installation of the Aquarius 5.8 Plasma was completed without any problems until the time of restart.
After it ended, many lines appeared on the screen and in each of them there was an [OK] on the left and among all these there was only one with a [FAILED], but I don't remember the content of that line.
In the last line that always had an [OK], there was the message saying to press a key to restart, but pressing nothing happened and immediately below these line there was this message: 431.824784 system-shutdown[1]: Failed to set watchdog hardware timeout to 10 min: Invalid argument.

Are you able to reproduce the error message, or does your system work fine ?

No, I can't reproduce that situation because the computer seems to be working fine.
Aside that for now the computer works, it's just that that line seemed strange to me, as it was strange that it didn't restart when I pressed any key. Oh, and then there was that other line that said [FAILED] referring to something.
But, if Q4OS 5.8 Plasma works, maybe it's because it wasn't something critical. ![]()

We have no idea what went wrong. Maybe some hardware glitch ? If it would appear again, take a screenshot with your phone and post it here.

Post install restart failure is something I have seen on numerous occasions on older (as I recall non UEFI) hardware.
Leaning on the power button is the only solution and all is normally fine afterwards.
It's just a hard reboot after all - don't fret it.

To be honest I hope it doesn't happen again! ![]()

That's right, the computer is from 2008 and that problem that did not restart by pressing any key I solved it only by pressing the reset button on the case.
