Issue with automatic login after logout or system suspend/

I've been experiencing a problem with automatic login after logging out or waking the system from suspend. It used to work fine, but it seems that one of the recent updates changed how SDDM behaves.

In the settings I have the following option enabled:
"colors and appearance > login screen (SDDM) > Behavior - immediately log in again after logout",
yet the system still asks for my password.

I'm using the latest version of Q4OS and the X11 session. The issue appears on three different computers, so it's unlikely to be an installation-specific problem.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or knows how to fix it? Maybe SDDM requires an additional configuration change or some parameter adjustment?

The latest version is Q4OS-7 testing, are you using this one ? https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5796

Please describe how the issue actually manifests exactly itself ?

This is very unlikely unless you are using a testing version.

- When did you notice the issue for the first time ?
- Please provide the last date when you are sure the system was working properly.
