I have the following question: based on the "discussions", the topic that was proposed, I understand this is a hint that the Q4OS team will focus only on KDE, and they will stop developing Q4OS Trinity?

... stop developing Q4OS Trinity?
No. Why do you think so ? We will develop Q4OS Trinity in the same way as before.

That will be a HUGE disaster!!! Without Trinity, Q4OS will be "just another KDE Linux distro"...

Not really, it would be "just another OUTDATED KDE Linux distro" (don't forget that Debian Trixie, that JUST went to release this year, is already 1 FULL MAJOR RELEASE version behind KDE Plasma, thus making it worse than 95% of the other KDE Linux distro's...IMO.

Yes, the stable version of Q4OS is based on the stable version of Debian, as are a few other distributions. It makes a perfect sense to provide users with stable and immutable system for a defined period of time. Especially for production environments. We focus on stability.
If you want rolling, thus non-stable distro, Debian testing is available. And now also Q4OS testing https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5796
We disagree Q4OS stable is "just another outdated Kde Linux distro". Q4OS has its own approach, benefits and native specialized tools. We focus on stability, we don't want break the compact system with occasional volatile upgrades, right. However, we agree that only users will decide what succeeds ![]()
