after installing linux-headers-amd64, broadcom-sta-common, broadcom-sta-dkms onto a laptop that I sent to someone (no access to it at the moment, can only give the new owner instructions), they are getting this message when trying to 'connect and save'
Thanks in advance!

What is the operating system running on that laptop and giving the "Unable to perform requested operation" error message?
Looks like Windows. But if it is really Q4OS (with a Windows look), then look at https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4698.

I'm using Plasma here, not TDE, and not themed, so I didn't recognize tdenetworkmanager. Sorry.
