Hi again, it turns out I was using Trinity a few days ago on version 5.8, and a bad update of the Mesa-Intel packages for x11 caused my system to enter an infinite loop...and it never recovers. My mistake. Fortunately, I had a live USB drive with Antromeda 6.1, so I figured it was now or never. The installation was done in less than 5 minutes. Since I had 8GB of RAM, it estimated a usage of 2GB at startup. Since my processor is very old, an i7 3537U, I thought it wouldn't run Wayland. However, the truth is that it ran without a problem. I was surprised by the RAM usage of just 600MB (wonderful) and how lightweight it is.
I didn't need to configure anything because it was as if I already knew all the services I frequently use. I'm really happy with this new update.
Congratulations to the developers and community for this update.
You can really see the great work they did, especially making it work on an older laptop.
