Sound Works But Sound Icon Greyed Out

Good afternoon,

Here's a weird one.

I am using Q4 Beta, and everything works. Even sound. But the sound icon on the taskbar is greyed out. Volume works normally. Clicking to configure the sound shows a fully functioning set of speakers and microphone. The system is not muted.

Thoughts?

Just an update: The sound icon is now NOT greyed out, but after a reboot, two sound icons showed up. I removed them both and added back just one. So strange. Maybe it has resolved?

Trying rebooting again and see if the single sound icon remains.

Are you using the default Breeze theme or did you set some another ? Which one ?

I am using Debonaire at the moment. I did tinker with different themes so maybe that has something to do with it. It appears to be fixed now. So strange.

Debonaire will undergo some further refinements before Q4OS-6 stable is released.
