I am really enjoying Q4os. This is my third or fourth linux distro that i have installed and it beats them all. There has been a couple of small issues but it has taken a laptop that never ending warranty issues with Windows, and continued issues with Debian 12, to very few.. One of the cool features that have seen was the Switch Start Menu feature that i would imagine is on a previous version, or maybe because i am using kde vs trinity, it is not there...not sure. Here is the video review and it is only a couple of years old. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cg2WVjSanT8. It is now incorporated into something else. Thanks!

It's still within Q4OS Trinity, even in the Q4OS-6 alpha release. It hasn't changed over time.

That video is Q4OS TDE.
To change start menu you need to right click on the menu>unlock panel>right click again to change to classic menu>right click again to switch to kickoff style menu.
BTW - with TDE before you do any changes open terminal and do sudo kcmodules --unlock
That will give you access to all the settings tools.
Alternative menus are available in Plasma by right click menu icon

I really like the menu choices in Plasma and how easy it is to change them.
