Post Articles - Videos - Images & Setup websites to promote Q4OS

Hi all,

I Love Q4OS so much and want lots of people to start using Q4OS and support development. So I am setting up several websites and back linking articles to blogs and other forums. In 3 weeks I my q4os.net site is now at No. 24 out of 369,000 pages. (3 page of "Q4OS Search) on Google.

Additionally, I am posting articles, images and videos about Q4OS on facebook, craigslist and Nextdoor.com.

Nextdoor.com is different than every other site I have used as they are truly localized to a given neighborhood. I can only post to really close neighbors on Nextdoor.com.

Another idea is to find used laptops with at least Duo Core processors and at least 2 GB of memory and loan them out to friends and neighbors so they test drive Q4OS realtime in the comfort of their own home.

I've also mentioned Q4OS on www.tsu.co.

tsu (pronounced "sue", as in the word tsunami) is a social media / network site that gives it's users a cut of the advertising money their posts bring in. I don't use it very much - I was never a big social network user. I refuse to get a facebook account. But, I thought I'd give tsu a try. It's okay, but still don't use it very much; I've got no time for that social media stuff.

I don't have a facebook account either. However my sis does and she has given me her password so I can post (very infrequently) to my daughter. Usually start those posts with "This is Jim!"

I posted a comment to Robbie at Cat5tv and asked him if he had checked out Q4OS. Now waiting to see if I get banned from that channel!

Awesome Job ! Plant seeds about Q4OS and let them grow. I checked the distro number this week and its same number as last week at 34.

A new promotional video about Q4OS is about to be circulated soon and that should help.

I am working on a very detailed Installer Tutorial for Windows users.

So much to do .....

I thought there was a mistake in the video - www.q4os.com - but it turns out that it redirects to www.q4os.org and most windows users are more familiar with the .com than with the .org.

One thing, If you are speaking about Q4OS, it would be better to change your title to "Why Q4OS Linux is Better?", because Q4OS is full name of this operating system.

Something you didn't mention (or maybe I didn't read that box?).
When you buy Windows it can legally be installed on only ONE computer. If you want to update all the computers in your company, you have to buy a corporate license for a preset number of computers. Which costs big bucks! And if your company has upgraded their Windows you may have to buy a copy for your home computer to stay compatible!
With linux, you download one copy (or buy one CD/DVD) and can install it on as many computers as you want! You can even install the company's version of linux on your home computer without breaking the law or paying one cent more!

About restarting your computer all the time.
I really get mad when i go to shut down a laptop that is running Windows and I see the message "Windows is installing updates. Do not turn off your computer until updates are finished. 205 more updates to go" or something similar!
Dangit! I need to go NOW not in two hours!!!
