How do I get rid of spamassassin? [SOLVED]

Unless I'm missing something, Q4OS installs and starts spamd, which is the Spamassassin daemon. It appears (to me, at least) to do NOTHING but consume resources. There is no evidence of it doing anything in my Vivaldi browser emails (not going to start up Evolution again to find out about that one), and there are no /var/log/mail* files to check.

Between spamd and the associated Perl processes, they're taking up ~140 MB.

How do I get rid of this useless smile thing?

EDIT: DUUUUHHHH! sudo apt remove spamassassin spamd spamc

Re: How do I get rid of spamassassin? [SOLVED]

I did four installs of Q4OS TDE today on various systems using the full desktop, and spamassassin isnt installed, as I checked in Synaptic and it doesnt show up anywhere in active processes.  Not sure how you got it installed on your system?

For those of you who need to remove an app you can also use Synaptic package manager to remove or add needed apps/packages.
