q40s running 24/7

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is anyone running a q4os system 24/7, I have a server i was thinking of using q4os on and just wanted a heads up on any known issues i might be facing. It will be running apache mysql and zoneminder and needs to be live 24/7.

Re: q40s running 24/7

I have done testing 24/7 with a ping and FTP to and from a abyss webserver.  On one system, and only this system I had to go in and check "Never" for "Minimize Memory Usage".

Not sure why but, that fixed the issue of the system slowing down after repeated FTP transfers.

No other issues found running 10 days straight.

I might give it a try, it currently uses debian with xfce desktop (for when I have to view footage), and memory usage and performance are pretty similar between the two. If I do try it i'll report here if anything out of the ordinary happens (or not smile )

Yea, but I keep getting this urge to test q4os in different environments, I'd say this is just a matter of time for this server smile I will dual boot though (at least initially) to be on the safe side.
