It's not specified yet, however it should take a couple of months. We are in line with Debian Trixie what will be released as soon as Debian developers consider Trixie stable.

Yes, by a few tens of MB. This is mainly due to the newer kernel. And also end user applications like Firefox etc. keep increasing their memory usage with almost every update. However, Trinity desktop stays reliably on its own
