touchpad problem

Hello friends,
Another problem with KDE Plasma.
I can no longer use the numeric keypad, and I have absolutely no idea what happened.

Re: touchpad problem

Is numberlock enabled?  If it is check settings>input devices>keyboard    Make sure that numberlock is turned on in Plasma at boot.

Your thread title says touchpad, but your post says numeric keypad????

Re: touchpad problem

Are you using a laptop that has touchpad & numeric keyboard like this photo?

Please describe your device, if it is a laptop or desktop PC, etc.

Re: touchpad problem

Hello everyone,

Sorry for being a little confusing.

I actually had two problems.
1- I still can't use my touchpad.
2- I no longer had access to my numeric keypad, but that's now fixed.
( Settings, Accessibility, Mouse Navigation, Use the numeric keypad to move the cursor = enable, uncheck (therefore, disable it).
Solution found on the Debian forum.)
3- No BjrPedro .On my ASUS laptop, the touchpad and numeric keypads are separate.

So, now I just have a problem with the touchpad.

Thanks a lot

Re: touchpad problem

Did you check that in settings>input devices>touchpad that it is enabled and look in startup and shutdown to see if touchpad is enabled to start when system boots?

See if libinput or synaptics drivers are installed for the touchpad and that fkey f6/f9 on keyboard enables the touchpad.

In regards to the numeric pad issue I dont understand why the accessibility feature for it was enabled as its off by default in KDE.

I think it was me who changed the configuration... But it's resolved
