It's really weird, but it's not working for me for some reason. What can be fixed?

It wont interfere with you accessing konsole as that can be done in even simpler ways as I mentioned. It may have something to do with your keyboard layout which you can check in KDE settings>input devices>keyboard. Also check settings>shortcuts and see the settings and options.

When I first installed Q4OS a couple of months ago I had the same issue, and this is how I resolved it…
Click the APPLICATION LAUNCHER icon (bottom left of screen), type SHORTCUTS.
If KONSOLE is not listed under APPLICATIONS,
at the bottom of the SHORTCUTS screen,
click on the ADD APPLICATION… button and type KONSOLE,
the KONSOLE application will be highlighted,
click OK.
Under APPLICATIONS, click on KONSOLE
Click on NO ACTIVE SHORTCUTS
Click on ADD CUSTOM SHORTCUT
Click on INPUT and pres the CTRL / ALT and T keys
Tick the CTRL+ALT+T box
Click on APPLY

Thats a lot of work for ctrl alt t when the konsole icon is already available in the menu in favorites with one click.

I must admit the one thing that has always bugged me with Plasma is lack of right click on desktop>open terminal here.
Practically everything else does it, just annoying to have to change muscle memory just to fit Plasma - especially when it does work in other places in Plasma.

As I said, Ctrl/Alt/T did not work for me when I first installed Q4OS, and that was the way that I have been loading it for years with Linux Mint, so that is how I managed to set it up. And perhaps as you said CROSSCOURT it was in FAVOURITES in the beginning, but it would have disappeared quickly and certainly is not there now.
I am a big shortcuts user, not only the standard Q4OS offerings, but I have also been using AUTOKEY for years.

Having been in Windows for so many years having the console icon in taskbar or favorites just seems more natural/easier, but @bin, wouldnt mind having it with a right click on desktop.
