Unfortunately, I can't go any further with the test browsing because one of my biggest problems is that the mouse pointer is not really visible for some reason.
It responds to the mouse, and sometimes the buttons change when the mouse is moved towards it, but you can't see the little arrow. And in many cases the mouse buttons are not usable either. So there was a button that I would hover the mouse over, that's how I knew the button had changed, and then I would press enter and that's how I got to the function in question.
Maybe this is because of the radio RAPOO Keyboard and Mouse or maybe because of the VirtuálBox, but in previous versions e.g. 5.7 there were no such problems.
My other observation is that the image that shows the galaxy when installing is too bright and the text is difficult to read in many cases. Either the image should be darkened a bit, or a darker but transparent panel should be placed behind the text.
That's my observation for now, I hope that this might help the developers.

Just did a quick test in QEMU/KVM and whilst not seeing quite the same issue, I did find the cursor to be much smaller than normal when using size 18 in the settings.
I also noticed the screen scaling button in the welcome screen didn't do anything.

We are aware of the issues mentioned, mouse pointer visibility and missing screen scaling. Keep in mind, it's pre-alpha release, so don't expect things will work:)
In anyway thanks for reporting you are welcome to post more.

OK, I was just trying it out.
I know it's pre-alpha and I wouldn't have used it as a final system, just out of curiosity.

Thank you for sharing! I tried "q4os-6.0-x64-plasma.r5-testing-alpha.iso" on a notebook and wondered, why I couldn't hear anything. I found, that "KMixer" wasn't installed and "Sound" is not included in the system's setting. After manual installation the sound appeared, but it is not integrated in the system's settings. Maybe you can add it better!? :-)

Yes, we can confirm kmix wasn't part of the basic install, we will fix that in the next release. Keep in mind, it's pre-alpha release, so don't expect things will work.
Thanks for the report.

You need to install "plasma-pa" package to get the volume control options.

Thank you! That worked for me!
I found two other things, I want to share:
The sources are not yet modernised by default. I did it by myself with
apt modernize-sources
Will you provide modernised sources in the future Iso?
During an update I got these messages:
Warnung: http://q4os.org/qextrepo/dists/bullseye-plasmalooks-cn/InRelease: Policy will reject signature within a year, see --audit for details
Hinweis: Fehlendes Signed-By im Eintrag sources.list(5) für »http://q4os.org/q4repo«

Maybe this is connected to it?!

Do you recommend to install newly? Or is it possible to leave it installed and to update? Would I get the new signing by Q4OS via updates?

Yes, Q4OS signing key lands to your system with the regular update. It is located in "/usr/share/keyrings/q4a-q4os.gpg" , so you only need to supply it in the Q4OS sources.list entry "Signed-by:"
