Looking for a VPN

There are several free VPNs in the Windows world but haven't been able to find one in the linux world. There's OpenVPN but only see tutorial on how to install it in Ubuntu and other distros. Anyone know how to set this up?

Re: Looking for a VPN

If you do a search online there are more VPNs that are free that work with Debian 12 such as Proton VPN and Open VPN that you mentioned.

There are tutorials available online showing how to install Open VPN such as this one,

www.webhi.com/how-to/how-to-install-openvpn-server-on-linux-debian-11-12/

Heres Proton VPN,

https://protonvpn.com/download-linux

Instructions to install in Debian are available on their site.

Also Proton VPN is available in the KDE version for install with Discover as a Flatpak app. Make sure in Discover settings that the Flathub feature at the top of settings is enabled and that Flatpak is installed on your system.
