This is an active forum, and the help is often effective. That is the most important, I think. But sometimes, some members may be a little impatient.
To answer your last question, I attended a friend's funeral.

Anyway, I am glad that you were able to resolve the problem.

People on these forums volunteer their time and as such also have lives of their own. There are also many available sources of info online other than just this forum( such as the Debian wiki), so sometimes it may take some effort on both sides to resolve issues, as we dont have all the answers either.

Everybody's already knows about every peoples have lives of their own, u just?
Yeah and everybody's knows there are much much sources via googling thing, so if everybody just googling then what this forum made for?
As i've mentioned before... Nice distro + Nice Forum activity & communication = Solid Distro!

Do u know why mint, mx, etc rise on top? Beside of their distro, there's a solid & active community factor there. Even very very basic thing from very noob questions got attention there, that make most peoples more love it.
Then.. that's make most google results bring peoples to their forum! All begin from active-interactive forum. got it?

+ Most people choose distro not only by how good the distro build, but also the "community" factor.

Re: HELP! Bluetooth can't find any devices in installed q4os

Its sort of a chicken or the egg situation. You need a great distro to create a good community, but many times thats not a guarantee that it will happen. MX Community was originally the Mepis community which has been around since the  early 2000s and Mint has also been around quite sometime. Q4OS is a much younger distro, with a much different focus towards supporting older hardware originally. Q4OS community is very good, considering the number of members and the devs are very active in the forums. Some forums also get too large and its difficult to get answers, or you get palmed off because they get tired of answering the same questions all the time.
My comment about using other resources online wasnt to palm off users who need help, but sometimes there simply wont be people online to help all the time and you may need to look things up and try to learn what you can do in the meantime.

I can say for myself I dont pick distros based on communities. I pick them based on their design, features and ease of use. If a good community comes with that all the better, but so many distros are based on the same distros like Debian or Ubuntu, so you can get answers in other forums or online resources. If a distro is good it will eventually gain a good number of users in the forums.

I appreciate your comments and perspectives.
