I have followed the instructions here. The script worked fine for the most part. However, there is an issue with themes lacking a path? I was hoping to use the Q4OS specific theme, but the KDE theme settings are completely uncooperative…

Installing LookSwitcher solves that issue. Next is to replace lightdm with sddm (sysv) and change the Devuan grub menu with Q4OS...

SDDM was already installed. I ran
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure sddm
to make sure that SDDM was active, but it appears the only thing that needed to be adjusted was setting the login screen under "startup and shutdown" preferences. Too bad there isn't a Q4OS Debonaire theme for SDDM...
I will probably leave the Devuan grub boot screen, as the alternative is the generic blue boot screen.
