I know this is sacrilege, but I bought a used laptop with Q4OS on it and I don't like it.
I'm trying to load Windows over the top of it but it won't let me, I can't get past the partition section.
Sorry, all I've ever used is Windows and can't get used to this other OS.

An operating system (Q4OS, Windows, ...) is not "removable", it is not like a program that can be "uninstalled".
Your question is related to Windows setup and you are more likely to get detailed help on a Windows forum or Microsoft website. The installer has almost certainly a tool to delete all the existing partitions, create and format a new one, if you want to use the full disk for Windows, before the real installation. Be careful because that will wipe the whole disk and everything stored on the disk will be lost forever.
