Will Arm version work on an ARM32/armhf computer?

Hi, I'm considering what to do with an old Chromebook that is well past its AUE date but it's ARM and 32-bit with just 2GB of soldered-on RAM and a 16 GB drive on version 7 architecture, aka Veyron Speedy. I just finished putting Q4os Trinity on my first Chromebook, but it had an Intel chip. It runs great. I hate the idea of e-waste on an otherwise perfectly viable machine for lack of an operating system that is still supported. My choices really boil down to possibly putting Armbian on the ARM Chromebook and then Q4os, going straight Debian or Arch. Almost no other OSes still support ARM32. The other two flavors are less work but have a big learning curve. Your guidance is welcomed and the answer will save me time and headaches.

No, Q4OS 3 Centaurus is available for amd64, i386 and arm64 architectures based on Debian. A separate Q4OS 3 Centaurus edition for Raspberry Pi is based on 32bit armhf Armbian release. Q4OS 4 Gemini is available for amd64 and i386 only.

Is that armhf Pi version of Centaurus chip-specific or generic? I'm wondering if that will work or to move on to one of the other distros.

The Q4OS armhf binaries are rather generic, but the distribution directly includes Armbian repositories. They are likely not compatible with another hardware, at least the Linux kernel and associated packages.
