[SOLVED] Panel

Hiyall,
I had reason to re-install Q4OS. This time I chose Basic and things resulted in an easier experience.
One thing remains; all the icons in the right hand side of the panel are scrunched up so they are small and on 2 lines. Also there are 2 clocks!
How do I get everything to work on one line and large like with the icons on the left side of the panel?

Re: [SOLVED] Panel

Are you talking about the System Tray icons, or applets that have been added to the end of the Panel?
It may just be the height of the taskbar - try reducing it to around 36 pixel and see what happens.

WRT the clock Right Click on Panel>Unlock the panel
Right click again>Remove from panel>Applet>Clock (if there's more than one)

More likely is that you have enabled the clock in the System tray - as well as having the clock applet.
So, you could just remove the clock applet completely, or remove the system tray clock.
For the former, see above.
For the latter, you need to locate the fading vertical dotted line to the left of the network icon. Click the little black arrow at the top>Configure System Tray and uncheck Show Clock in Tray.

If you get hopelessly tangled try the FAQ here https://www.q4os.org/documents.html 4.7

That's weird, would it be possible to post a screenshot ?

Re: [SOLVED] Panel

It got worse. I was on the computer (for various reasons) all day and I just got tired. So now there are no icons on the right side. I want clock, audio volume, battery charge and WiFi.
Can you help, please?

Re: [SOLVED] Panel

You may have removed system tray accidentally. Just try to add the system tray to panel, right click on panel  > add applet .. > system tray

Re: [SOLVED] Panel

Now we're getting somewhere! Screenshot 2 shows where I'm at.
4 icons 'scrunched' together instead of inline (like on left side) and no clock.

Re: [SOLVED] Panel

Screenshot 3...nearly there. How do I get the little icons to be bigger and in line?

Re: [SOLVED] Panel

You can get icons inline and bigger in the system tray. Contol panel > Appearance and themes > Icons > Advanced > modify size of icons in systray
