Eeepc ram 1go to 2go

Bonjour
Je me demande si sur mon eeePC 1000H avec Q4os passer de 1Go à 2Go ce sera mieux.

J'ai entendu dire *que sur certains os cela ne servait à rien

I wonder if on my eeePC 1000H with Q4os going from 1GB to 2GB will be better.

I've heard that on some sites* that with somme os it doesn't help to have more ram.

I have an EeePC 1011 that is slightly newer than yours.
Yes, installing 2Gb RAM made some difference. An SSD hard drive made a bigger difference.
The issue is that you still are left with a 32bit motherboard therefore you need to install a 32bit OS. It works but not well. It is difficult with the internet. It will probably work well as a single use machine. I have mine running a server for playing audio and that's it.
I'm looking around for a refurbished 64 bit laptop and then I'll install the smallest Q4OS and minimum audio software and that's all.

If you are often near or at 100% it could be worth upgrading your RAM, but first of all check in the PC specifications if the motherboard supports 2 GB RAM.

EEEPC 1000H supports up to 2gb of memory, definitely worth doing.

Merci pour les conseils  entre 2 j'ai tester avec Lubuntu et J'ai mis 2go de ram et suis revenu à q4os.
