How to prevent sleep / suspend

I'm using the Trinity desktop, and have set TDEPowersave to "performance". I also edited /etc/systemd/logind.conf with HandleLidSwitch=ignore. I also set the power button it ignore, but that doesn't get ignored, it simply puts it to sleep. I've restarted the system just in case and reset it back to "performance". However no matter what as soon as I close the close the system sleeps.

I am using an HP stream notebook 11-d020nr. The battery is dead so not sure if this is the reason (as soon as I unplug it, it shuts down). I also tried looking into the BIOS to see if there was something I could set, but not seeing anything.

Here is the TDEPowersave settings:
========================
Current Scheme: Performance
Current CPU Freq. Policy: Performance
Battery State: Critical
Set Brightness supported: Yes
TDE hardware subsystem: Active

Battery State: 0

AC Adapter: Plugged In
