Update notifier not working

Always quits with error code 1004. I'm using Trinity but the same thing happened on Plasma.

The Apt database looks to be inconsistent for some reason. Please run in terminal:
$ sudo apt update

Post terminal output of the following commands:
$ qrepolist
$ sudo sh /usr/share/apps/q4os_system/bin/qapt_fix.sh

Now safe ready.
Done.
Checking package system ..
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Package system ok.

Well, run one more command:
$ sudo apt dist-upgrade
and post back.
