Hello,
When trying to launch the XPQ4 script "setup_xpq4-free_4.2-a1_all.esh" (same thing with full version) i have an error message that indicates "Invalid Header" (I've installed the latest available version of Q4OS : v4.10 r2 with TDE desktop)
With previous versions of Q4OS, there was no issue at all (don't remember if v4.09 was also impacted though, but i'm sure previous versions were ok)
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Herve

i have an error message that indicates "Invalid Header"
How does the message look ? Please post the exact wording or screenshots, and more detailed description as well as exact installation iso file.

I finally got this script working with a fresh installation of Q4OS (i used a usb key with this image q4os-4.10-x64-tde.r2.iso and Rufus tool). Don't know what the problem was, though... Then i also tried this image : quarkos-22.04-x64-tde.r4.iso because my laptop is a chromebook : Acer 315 (BLORB motherboard) and i don't have sound with the classic image : q4os-4.10-x64-tde.r2.iso. Well with the quarkos iso and TDE desktop, i reproduced the issue (i boot on the usb key, then install the os with the icon on the desktop, i reboot and install Firefox, disconnect and choose Trinity desktop) then download and launch the script setup_xpq4_4.2-a1_all.esh). Here is the error i get :
That's so strange !!

What desktop profile did you choose upon OS installation ?
... disconnect and choose Trinity desktop...
What exactly does that mean ?

By the sound of it you are trying to set up XPQ4 on Quark - which is Ubuntu based, not Debian.

XPQ4 to my knowledge is only compatible on the Debian side according to their website. You might want to contact the XPQ4 devs to discuss the problem since the Q4OS devs arent directly responsible for it. https://xpq4.sourceforge.io
