Keyboard layout

I installed Q4OS on my old Medion 32 laptop and I'm very pleased with it. One thing however I can't fix. I'm used to the keyboard layout eng US international euro sign on 5  with dead keys. I can' t find the correct setting for the dead keys.

Anybody who can help me?

Re: Keyboard layout

Actually, there is another keyboard layout available - English US variant Euro (see attachment).
But I can not figure out, what key sequence I need to press to get Euro sign. Shift + 4 types $ sign...
Anybody knows, what key sequence I need to press to get Euro sign using this layout?

Update: You need to use Right Alt key + 5 to type € sign using this layout on Generic 105-key international keyboard (standard keyboard).
As for non standard keyboards, which are used on some notebooks, it will not be easy to help you, since we do not have this notebook.
At least you could write the exact model name of your notebook, like Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6 82JW008TPB, but not just Lenovo Legion.

Re: Keyboard layout

Thank you for your reply. After trying a few more settings I found out I had to use enlish (US) with variant intl and not euro. The euro sign € is on 5 with Alt Gr or right alt key indeed.

Re: Keyboard layout

Where I am, the most common '€' shortcut is RightAlt+E. Just wondering if this doesn't work for you?

Re: Keyboard layout

No, RightAlt+E does not working for us.

Re: Keyboard layout

I found on this page many drawings of keyboards (including the position of € and so on) and their names. Not sure, but I hope this will help to choose the appropriate layout in Q4OS configuration.
