I just bought a brand new ASUS X515FA BR301W Notebook PC. Upon my request the technician removed Windows completely.
On an other Q4OS based computer I downloaded Q4OS 4.10, Gemini, stable which I wrote to an USB stick.
I installed Q4OS successfully to the ASUS Notebook using an Ethernet connection during the installation; Q4OS is fully updated but am unable detecting Wi-Fi network - 'No available connections'.
It seems that the 'Network Manager' for the Wireless network setup is not available anymore in the Software Center.
Since it is a brand-new machine I really would like the Wi-Fi operational.
I searched this forum for a possible solution but couldn't find a suitable fix other then running inxi -F to be posted here.

It is for Ubuntu but should work the same with Q4OS.
Another user (Linux Mint) says this works with kernel 5.13 so maybe using the backport kernel will just work too?

Thanks for responding.
I disabled secure boot and installed Realtek RTL8821CE Driver as per instructions but no joy.

Wow, that worked like a charm, thank you! The available Wi-Fi networks are visible and my Wi-Fi is now working.
I used the method found here:

But stopped after I did sudo apt update.
The configuration of my new ASUS notebook is now complete.
Re: "The old good default kernel will not be uninstalled, so you can anytime choose and boot it from the grub boot menu, if you will fall into any issues."
I encrypted the entire system and actually never see the grub boot menu. Just in case if I encounter issues, would you please advise on how to access the grub menu, thanks.
Also, prior asking for advice here I installed two codes from GitHub repositories viz:

I don't know the complexities or if they present possible glitches for retaining these on the OS. Should these codes/drivers/repositories now be removed and if so what is the recommended method, thanks.
