Low disk space error in Q4OS desktop

I have installed Q4OS from Windows7 and using as dualboot setup, Am getting a popup like image attached here. when i see the total space available for the Home- 16 GB, so i deleted the downloads, documents and other local user config folders from browsers and applications. still this error pops up often as use the desktop.

Kindly guide me (with exact commands or link) on how to increase the reserved space for the disk and get rid of this !

Regards,

Ragu..

Re: Low disk space error in Q4OS desktop

To see disk usage in /home, per user:

du -h -d1 /home

To see disk usage in one user's home directory, per sub-directory:

du -h -d1 /home/<user>

To see disk free space in /home (useful if it is on its own partition)

df -h /home
