Admins logon

Is there away to change the auto logon of a root user.
I have just loaded Q4OS debian11 TDE
It appears that one is logged in auto as su?

The default install process disables the root account and makes the user a member of the sudo group.

The sudo command requires the user password to activate that command. That activation is currently live for (I recall) 30 minutes, so subsequent commands will still need to be prefixed by sudo, but the password will not be requested. This timer can be reduced or disabled.

You can modify the system to enable the root account and remove the user from the sudoers group.
