[SOLVED] Free Dos Machine installation

Good day to all!

I purchased a brand new laptop as fallow:

Asus X415JA-BV012 i3-1005G1 4GB 256SSD 14" FreeDos HD. If nothing is mounted to the laptop, it directly goes to Bios menu at the startup.

I have made a bootable USB drive using rufus software. I use Q4OS Gemini, Trinity, live - 64bit / x64 ... 1020 MBytes version. The laptop boots to Q4OS properly. The system recognises the wifi properly and goes the steps with no problem until partition. I tried to "INSTALL Q4OS" the only partition medium is seen as the USB Flash Drive.

Thinking that I used the wrong release, this time I did the bootable USB using Q4OS Gemini, Trinity, install-cd - 64bit / x64. I again started installing process. It was all fine until I arrived "partition" section. Again, the only partition drive is shown  as 4 GB scandisc cruise flash drive. What am I doing wrong? The laptop is supposed to have an 256 SSD GB SSD harddrive, isn't it?

Some details:
Intel (R) core  i3-1005 G1
Memory 4096 MB

Please help, I am to anxious to start using my brand new "All Q4OS" notbook.

Ali.

If you can access the BIOS you may want to check that it does show the hard drive in the relevant section.
SATA mode AHCI.

Re: [SOLVED] Free Dos Machine installation

Here is the result of sudo lsblk command on terminal:

adminq@debian:~/Masaüstü$ sudo lsblk
NAME   MAJ:MIN RM   SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
loop0    7:0    0 952,7M  1 loop /usr/lib/live/mount/rootfs/filesystem.squashfs
sda      8:0    1   7,4G  0 disk
└─sda1   8:1    1   7,4G  0 part /run/live/medium
adminq@debian:~/Masaüstü$

What happened to hard drive?

Re: [SOLVED] Free Dos Machine installation

Hmmm.... I found solution. Thank you Bin for your hint on SATA mode on Bios Menu. I changed it to AHCI and now my SAMSUNG SSD Hard drive is visible. How do I tag this post as "solved" ?
